Full-time occupational health nurse opening at Comprehensive
Health ServicesCorporate Headquarters
in Reston, VA. working M-F no weekends, evenings or on call.
SCOPE:
Responsibilities include review of health histories, OSHA
respiratory questionnaires, OSHA audiograms and DOT exams, IME and fitness for
duty arrangements. Provide education and training of in-house exam support
personnel. Coordinate annual in-house flu vaccine clinic.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Nursing degree + active Virginia RN license.
COHN, CAOHC, or case management experience preferred. All
licenses must be unencumbered and remain in effect during term of employment.
EKG interpretation experience a plus.
Must be detail oriented, flexible, and able to work in fast
paced environment
Must be prepared to accept unexpected challenges.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Reviews medical exam results
Recruits providers; summarizes medical information;
schedules exams and reviews reports for IMEs and fitness for duty evaluations
Compiles medical data including health history and
examination results
SPECIAL REQUIRMENTS:
Tools and Equipment used:
Proficient in operation of personal computer including
knowledge of Microsoft office
Good telephone skills
Physical Requirements:
Work involves prolonged periods of sitting and computer
operation, and telephone communication
