organization is currently searching for a highly motivated and experienced
bilingual nurse manager to oversee its occupational health services
unit. As the manager, you will supervise the occupational and
non-occupational health services provided by 3 registered nurses, develop and
control the unit’s budget, manage vendor relationships, develop and implement
preventive medicine programs, provide case management of sick leave and
disability cases and monitor the unit’s effectiveness in providing care to the
employees of the organization.
The successful manager
will enjoy a standard (Monday thru Friday) work week. He/she must have a
D.C. RN license and a BSN, Master’s preferred; 5-8 years management /
leadership experience in either an in-patient or out-patient medical setting;
and fluency in English and Spanish (excellent verbal and writing communication
skills). Also, he/she must be a team player who can communicate
effectively with Human Resources, physicians, peers and all levels of staff;
must possess strong organizational / prioritization / analytical skills,
attention to details, able to multi-task work that is varied and at times
complex; and must be self-directed, able to problem solve and make independent
decisions within pre-established guidelines. Commitment to patient
service, excellence and quality are highly desirable outcomes.

assist with occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries of staff,
all aspects of medical exams and travel medicine vaccinations. Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred; current RN license
in the District of Columbia
and CPR & AED certification; and at least 5 years of clinical experience
skills in emergency medicine, cardiology, or internal medicine. Requirement:fluency in Spanish (writing and
verbal skills). Candidate must be committed to provide excellent customer
service to our multi-lingual, multi-cultural clients and must possess
outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Work schedule: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Friday
