General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking candidates with a Bachelor's Degree and experience as a Registered Nurse to direct the establishment and operation of the Military Health System Patient Safety (PS) Program located at Barksdale AFB, LA and Ramstein,
Germany.
Candidate will direct the establishment and operation of the Military Health System Patient Safety (PS) Program at the MTF level.
Works closely with MTF leadership to promote a culture of safety throughout the MTF and formulate policies to promote safer care.
Makes recommendations for organizational changes.
Administers and manages day-to-day PS program operations encompassing all aspects of inpatient and ambulatory care, and support functions.
Collaborates closely with the Performance Improvement, QualityManagement, and Risk Management offices.
Responsible for coordination of root cause analyses (RCAs), failure mode and effect analyses (FMEAs), and other PS initiatives brought about by the event reporting and proactive risk assessment functions of PS Program.
To carry out the functions, the PS Manager shall have access to all necessary and relevant MTF and medical staff data, including but not limited to committee minutes, medical records and medical staff files.
