and Magnet status facilities has partnered with Galileo Search to find an
experienced Director of Employee Health.
In this high profile role,
the Director of Employee Health will manage the employee health function to
meet internal and regulatory agency requirements. The Director of Employee
Health will interact with the appropriate departments, personnel and hospital
staff and will be responsible for the following: Support of the health benefit program
including program utilization, disease management programs, wellness programs,
initiatives and contracted provider network management, ensuring compliance
with all employees, visitors, patients, and environmental safety, health
standards, regulations and guidelines, fire safety, hazardous materials,
workplace and general safety compliance. This position reports to the Director
of Infection Prevention & Employee Health.
Position Requirements:
RN licensure from a
nationally accredited school of nursing required; Minimum of a BSN and MSN
highly preferred;
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
licensure highly preferred; 3 plus years experience practicing as a mid-level
practitioner and experience in occupational medicine and managing Workers Compensation
programs is highly preferred.
Managing or directing an
employee health, occupational health or workers compensation program within an
acute care hospital required.
Demonstrated ability to
facilitate process improvement initiatives for the health care system required
Possess the ability to
enter and manage data, create reports and documentation
Demonstrated computer
literacy Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

written communication skills.
